Help

Use Matchalizer to record matches, build player histories, share live spectator links, and export reports.

First Time Setup

  1. Add Player: create a new player or follow an existing one.
  2. Create Season: connect the player to a team and season dates.
  3. Add Match: add opponent, date, time, match type, and format.
  4. Record Match: use the event buttons to log goals, assists, saves, cards, positions, notes, photos, and playing time.
  5. Reports: after a match ends, review the match report and season totals.

Recording a Match

  1. Open the match from the dashboard.
  2. Press Start when the match begins.
  3. Select the active player tab, then tap the event you want to record.
  4. Use position, note, and photo tools when you need extra context.
  5. Use Undo immediately if you record the wrong event.
  6. Press End to finish and generate and view the report.

Sharing

  • Spectator link: share a live view of a match with someone who does not need to log in.
  • Child invite: let another registered user view or record for a player.
  • Proxy recorder: create a one-match recording link for another person.
  • Team join code: share a team so another registered user can access it.

Icon Guide

Season Icons

  • PDF: export the season report as a PDF.
  • Spreadsheet: export the season data as a CSV file.
  • Share: copy a link to the season.
  • Archive: move the season out of the main dashboard.
  • Restore: move an archived season back to the main dashboard.
  • Edit tournaments: manage tournament details for tournament matches.

Match Icons

  • Edit: edit a match that has not started yet.
  • Comment: add a match comment after the match has ended.
  • Image: add a match photo after the match has ended.
  • Delete or revoke: remove a match, invite, or link.
  • Proxy recorder: create a one-match recording link for another person.
  • Spectator or invite link: copy a shareable link.

Season Stats

  • Goals: goals scored by the player or team.
  • Assists: assists recorded for the player.
  • Matches played: matches included in the total.
  • Pitch time: percentage of available match time played.
  • Saves: goalkeeper saves.
  • Penalty saves: penalties saved by the goalkeeper.
  • Caught crosses: crosses caught by the goalkeeper.
  • Distributions: goalkeeper or player distributions.
  • Blocks: blocked shots or attacks.
  • Clearances: defensive clearances.
  • Tackles: tackles recorded.
  • Interceptions: passes or play intercepted.
  • Key passes: passes leading to a chance.
  • Ball recoveries: possessions won back.
  • Lost possession: times possession was lost.
  • Shots on target: shots requiring a save or resulting in a goal.
  • Shots off target: shots that miss the target.
  • Dribbles: dribbles recorded.
  • Crosses: crosses into the area.
  • Corners: corner kicks.
  • Fouls: fouls committed.
  • Fouls won: fouls won by the player.
  • Free kicks or penalties: set-piece events.
  • Own goals: own goals recorded.
  • Yellow cards: cautions.
  • Red cards: send-offs.
  • Injuries: injury events.
  • Errors leading to goal: mistakes that led to a goal.

Match Timeline Icons

  • Start or second half: match period started.
  • Half time: first half ended.
  • End: match ended.
  • Player on: player entered the pitch.
  • Player off: player left the pitch.
  • Note: add a note during a match.
  • Photo: add a photo during a match.
  • Undo: undo the last recorded action.
  • Position: position information on a match report.

Common Questions

Can someone watch without an account?

Yes. Use the spectator link for a match.

Can someone else record for me?

Yes. Use a proxy recorder link for one match, or a child invite if they should help more often.

Where are reports?

Match reports are available after a match ends. Season and competition exports are available from their dashboards.
